Tom Esler - Head of Division Tom Esler heads up the Litigation Division and is a commercial litigation partner, based at Halesowen Commercial Centre He is a specialist litigator with 15 years of experience in commercial dispute resolution and risk management. He has extensive mediation experience. He has represented parties in a wide range of disputes from straightforward contractual matters through to complex manufacturing disputes, warranty disputes and shareholder litigation. Primarily he acts for shareholders and directors of owner-managed businesses advising on all areas of company law, ecommerce, insolvency and intellectual property. Suzanne Lee Suzanne Lee joined mfg Solicitors in 1997. She qualified in 1999, and became parnter within the litigation division. For the past seven years Suzanne has worked in litigation with a brief interlude working in tax and trusts. Her specialist knowledge of the litigation field is a valuable asset to the firm and she has vast experience advising both commercial and private clients. Suzanne’s areas of expertise include professional negligence, contentious probate and commercial contract disputes. She is an esteemed board member at mfg and has membership to the

Norman Robertson-Smith Having qualified as a solicitor in 1977, Norman has been with mfg Solicitors since 1980 and is a partner in the civil litigation division based in Kidderminster. With extensive experience in the civil litigation arena, Norman is able to provide expert professional advice on the full spectrum of legal disputes. His particular areas of expertise include lawsuits relating to land and buildings, partnerships, professional negligence and contested probate. An expert in his field, Norman has encountered many County Court and High Court actions and completed a number of mediations throughout his legal career. He was also involved in taking a successful case to the European Court of Human Rights against the UK government in 1988. Norman previously managed the civil litigation at the firm’s

Harjie Bindra Harjie Bindra joined mfg solicitors in May 2007 and brings valuable litigation expertise to the firm having entered the legal profession in 1992. He qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and was head of civil litigation at both an office of a national firm and a reputable west midlands practice. Whilst able to assist both individuals and commercial organisations in a wide range of disputes, Harjie specialises in property litigation. He has extensive knowledge in this area and has been providing advice and conducting litigation for commercial and residential landlords as well as commercial tenants, for many years. His experience includes dealing with contested lease renewals, lease termination, dilapidation claims, actions for breach of covenants, possession claims and enforcement. When not working, Harjie enjoys participating in most sporting activities and has a keen interest in football. |

John McCormack John qualified as a solicitor in 1981 He has been with mfg for 8 years.He has previously worked as a solicitor in Local Government and also in private practice in Hong Kong.He has travelled extensively in the Far East and Australia. John is able to advise on most general litigation matters especially building disputes,partnership disputes,consumer problems,professional negligence claims and general contractual matters for private individuals and firms /businesses.He also is very experienced in Personal Injury and Accident claims. |

Geoff Strong Geoff Strong is an Associate in the Civil Litigation Team and is based in the Kidderminster branch of mfg Solicitors. Since joining the firm 25 years ago in 1983, Geoff has built up considerable expertise in many areas of civil litigation. Particular specialisms include mobile home park disputes, debt collection and contracts and disputes relating to motor sports. Geoff also specialises in commercial litigation including building disputes, contract and boundary disputes. Outside of mfg, Geoff is an International Steward of motor racing and a National Clerk of the Course. He has been appointed as chairman of the organising committee for Cancer Research UK Festival of Brass & Voices at the Royal Albert Hall 2012, taking over in 2009. |

John Foxall John Foxall joined mfg Solicitors in 1965. He is a litigation executive in the civil litigation division. He is based in the Kidderminster branch of mfg. John specialises in the areas of personal injury, insolvency, general tort, contracts, landlord and tenant and professional negligence. John has acquired vast knowledge and experience from his previous work having been involved in a medical negligence case that settled at a little under a million. He is also an associate of the Institute of Legal Executives. Outside of the office John keeps active by playing table tennis and walking. He is interested in amateur dramatics and music, and enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. |
Chris Stanley Chris Stanley has been a solicitor for over 30 years specialising in litigation for most of that time. He is now a Consultant but was a Partner in the Firm for over 20 years during which time he was head of the Litigation Division for a number of years. He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of litigation and disputes both for individuals and Companies. His particular specialities are claims for personal injury accident and compensation, claims against Doctors, hospitals and other medical bodies and inquests. He is a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Specialists Panel. |
