Harjie joins mfg for business Team
Published March 2008
As a property litigation specialist, Harjie, an associate solicitor, was recruited by mfg solicitors in May last year to bolster the strength of the commercial litigation department bringing with him 15 years litigation experience.
Harjie has worked in various capacities across the country. He spent a short time with a London based firm before moving to the civil litigation department of a regional practice in the west midlands where his clients’ included The National Trust. He became joint head of the civil litigation department shortly before he left to join a leading firm to head its civil litigation department of the Solihull office.
Harjie’s forte is property litigation with a strong emphasis on commercial landlord and tenant matters. Acting for both landlords and tenants, he has built up tremendous knowledge in this field over the years, advising on all areas of contentious property including contested lease renewals, lease termination, dilapidation claims, actions for breach of covenants, and possession claims. He works closely with the commercial property division and his expertise is routinely called upon where contentious issues are contemplated.
Having enjoyed a very successful first year at mfg, Harjie is committed to developing this specialist area further to ensure the best possible service continues to be provided to the firm’s clients.
