Kirsten Bridgewater
Agriculture and Rural Affairs Division

Assistant solicitor Kirsten Bridgwater has been with mfg Solicitors since 30th July 2007.  After spending 8 years teaching art and art history at Dene Magna School, Kirsten decided to re-train as a solicitor, beginning the process via a 2 year distance learning programme.  She gave up teaching in 2004 to pursue a full-time Legal Practice course.  She moved to mfg from Blakemore’s Solicitors in Birmingham, and qualified on 15th September 2007.

Kirsten is mainly responsible for contentious cases within the Agricultural and Rural Affairs division.  Her areas of expertise include litigation, with specialist knowledge in agricultural property litigation.  She works closely alongside Jonathan Clifford, dealing with matters such as contested land registry applications, restrictive covenants, boundary disputes and possession claims; together with landlord and tenant disputes such as contested lease renewals, forfeiture and dilapidations claims.

Kirsten enjoys windsurfing in her spare time, on local lakes and off the British Coast at weekends and escaping to more exotic coastlines during holidays.  She also participates in archery and circuit training, and plays flute at a grade 8 level.
